Dear 2016 LLL of Florida Conference Registrants:

It is with great disappointment that we are writing to let you know that due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to reschedule the 2016 LLL of Florida and Caribbean Islands' Breastfeeding and Parenting Conference.

When we announced back on October 5 the difficult decision to cancel the conference due to Hurricane Matthew, we told you that we intended to reschedule at the Hilton, and the Hilton assured us that this would be possible. Sadly, this has not turned out to be the case. The Hilton sustained damage during the hurricane and they are still rebuilding and cleaning up. In addition, previously planned construction updates to our conference space will occur in December and January. Finally, we were informed this week that the Hilton's conference space is booked solid through May.

With no possibility of rescheduling our conference at the Daytona Beach Hilton, we will provide you with a full refund of your conference registration fees via your original form of payment. If your credit card information has changed since you registered, please let us know by November 21, 2016 so that we can make amendments. As you can imagine, "undoing" a conference that was in the planning stages for more than one and a half years will take some time. It is our sincere goal to process all refunds by December 15, 2016.

We sincerely thank you for registering for our conference and for your patience as we navigated this unprecedented disruption to our planned event. We look forward to seeing you sometime in the future when we will gather again. If you have any questions, please contact me by e-mail at lalecheconf@gmail.com.
